The Associate Director of Global Marketing Metabolism will be responsible for supporting all commercial elements for both in-line and pipeline assets in metabolism, including our diabetes and MASH assets. The diabetes portfolio is a significant contributor to the long-range forecast.

Our exciting late-stage MASH asset is currently in Ph2b and has potential for blockbuster peak revenue. Responsibilities for the MASH franchise will be focused on anticipating rapidly changing market dynamics (including, access, policy, treatment, diagnosis), implementing the Enterprise Product Plan and evolving our commercial strategy accordingly.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Direct ownership of the global diabetes franchise, including strategic and commercial leadership, in collaboration with regions worldwide.

  • Lead as the commercial point for all supply and optimization efforts.

  • Effectively manage the Pfizer Alliance as co-chair of the Joint Commercial Committee.

  • Contribute to the development and lead the implementation of commercial elements needed for a late-stage asset including strategy, positioning, segmentation, value proposition, and manufacturing and supply chain considerations.

  • Partner with our data and analytics organization to data strategy to inform customer insights

  • Lead as a key member of the MASH Agile Team to foster cross-functional collaboration excellence.

  • Provide support in all Enterprise-Go-To-Market (EGTM) related activities including market segmentation validation, and Enterprise Product Plan (EPP) refinement and implementation.

  • Opportunity to lead strategic projects for the broader metabolic therapeutic area.

  • Tight management of the promotional budget.

  • Create organizational excitement, momentum, confidence and focus on the Cardiovascular portfolio, as a key member of the Cardiovascular Global Franchise.

  • Partner with CMR Global Marketing colleagues to foster a culture of inclusivity, collaboration, and innovation.

  • Challenge the status quo and contribute to creating stronger outcomes through stretching our collective team's thinking.

Position Qualifications:

Education Minimum Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree

Preferred Education: Advanced Degree (MBA)

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience across marketing, sales, market access or related experiences in pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams.

  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical capabilities and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Able to challenge the status quo and lead change to achieve strategic priorities.

  • Able to work in white space and deal with uncertainty.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

• Global marketing experience.

• Experience in alliance management and working effectively with partners to drive joint initiatives.

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

Expected salary range:

$135,500.00 - $213,400.00
