Regional Cap Ex – Senior Specialist (Americas)

Reporting into the Director for regional Capex, the selected candidate will manage the CapEx spend that generally falls into the following categories: GES Low Segment, GWES/IFM capital spend, and direct materials capital spend for a given region(s). This position will be the liaison between the sites and ultimately to the Global Cap Ex team.

The candidate will be required to provide primary expertise in Capital planning, engagement management and performance improvement of the capital spend, and ensure complete understanding of our requirements and expectations in strategic assistance and engagement deliverables. The Individual will be required to understand budgeting models, pricing models, total cost of ownership, margins paid and must drive financial transparency. He/she will provide specialized negotiation expertise and contract term management for the Capital program.

The successful implementation of this role requires developing direct relationships with internal stakeholders and global suppliers, while driving transformational changes and adherence to our procurement policies and processes. Consistent, strategic alignment with procurement requirements is critical as the role strives to provide integrated services that anticipate the needs and exceed the expectations of stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, supports, and execute a comprehensive regional strategy in line with the global strategy, including but not limited to overall supplier management, compliance, risk management, diversity spend, and stakeholder management.

  • The program incorporates the capital spend from IFM

  • The program incorporates the capital spend from Direct Materials

  • The program will provide a single point of contact for local site procurement

  • Partner closely and regularly interacts with a wide array of internal and external stakeholders to establish, enable, continuously improve and govern capital spending.

  • Stakeholders include, but not limited to GWES, GES, IFM, Direct Materials, and local site procurement.

  • Drive sourcing compliance and maximizing our leverage for supplier value.

  • Ensure suppliers are managed through the Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) program and ensure all stakeholders are in alignment with the performance of the suppliers.

  • Monitors KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) for the program. KPIs to include at a minimum cost savings, cost avoidance, and diversity spend.

  • Ensure understanding and adherence of all internal customers to the established GCP policies and procedures.

  • Stay at the forefront of sustainability best practices, regulations, and industry trends, ensuring our sustainability approach remains cutting-edge and aligned with emerging opportunities.

  • Drive diversity spend by developing new suppliers globally.

  • Provide leadership and consistency with our environmental and sustainability goals.

Position Qualifications :

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Knowledge of environmental sustainability concepts, regulations, and industry best practices is desirable.

  • Demonstrated project management expertise, successfully managing fast-paced projects with multiple players across cross-functional teams. Success executing sustainability initiatives with measurable outcomes and the ability to manage multiple high-impact projects concurrently.

  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders, including suppliers and industry organizations.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, ability to effectively communicate complex sustainability topics to diverse audiences.

  • Ability to navigate a dynamic and fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and opportunities.

Education Minimum Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree, MBA or advanced degree is desirable.

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience related to procurement, supply chain, project management and with previous exposure to multiple cross functional business teams and demonstrated progressive increases in responsibility.

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

Expected US salary range:

$91,600.00 - $144,100.00
